Next, to begin your fitness journey, you need to know where you're starting from. That means evaluating your current fitness levels by measuring things like your weight, resting heart rate, active heart rate, and other markers.
These numbers will come in handy when measuring your progress. Just don't judge yourself too harshly. We all have to start somewhere!
Now's the time to set fitness goals. Perhaps you want to increase the number of push-ups you can do or beat your hardest punch.
Setting fitness goals gives you something to aim for and, even if they adjust over time (which they should), setting them is an essential step in starting a fitness journey.

For a cool down, you'll do some static stretches like forward-folds and reclined twists to improve flexibility and mobility over time, as well as aiding in the recovery process.
